SK Sturm Graz vs Nottingham Forest

And rumour is that Anderson has not travelled

We will see

Kind of think Anderson would have been desperate to be involved

If we win today we build momentum and take some pressure off

Our best team wins this

A weaker team finds it way tougher to get a result than it needs to be

The injuries and suspension create rotation as it is

So dont thnk today is the game to bring in extra rotation we dont need

Weve already lost CHO, Jesus, Luiz and Awoniyi

Thats more than enough rotation and opportunities for others for me

Surely journalists would confirm if Anderson was there or not?

I've heard that Wood, Bakwa, Aina, Hutchinson, Cunha, Awoniyi (but its claimed that he's been rotated out), CHO, Anderson, Sniffs White, Zinchenko, Luiz, Jesus and Angus Weapon are rested for Graz.

That's 13 players...wow wow wow.

Hutchinson, Cunha, Awoniyi not in Europa squad.
Aina, Angus, Bakwa, CHO, Zin, Luiz injured.
Jesus suspended.
-
Wood almost back from injury. Do we risk him coming back too early?

Rest MGW and Anderson...?

Dominguez, Sangare, Yates, MacManCity running the midfield.

Should be plenty good enough.

Whilst i don't not disagree, chap, that team has never played together and will be rustier than my trombone following a friday night down the dog track.

Graz are not be underestimated.
Our away record is, frankly, shocking this season (save the lucky draw in Betis) and the confidence is so fragile that losing this game could lead to a double-bounce vs Leeds on sunday.

Dyche must surely play his strongest team, and hope for the best on Sunday.

Unless they're a known injury risk (Luiz) then any player can pick up an injury at any point .e.g. training, so why hold them back?

I do think sometimes people are tempted to go way too weak in these games.

For YEARS Forest made a habit of lowering themselves to the level of sides we had to play in the FA cup.

Can we not do that in Europe please?

If we're a better side than them, we should put a better team out than them.

100 per cent agree

Wastes all the hard work qualifying for Europe

We need to pick strongest team poss to win tonight

To take pressure off later in the tournament

And rumour is that Anderson has not travelled

He wasn't in the squad photo on the Sturm pitch but I'd be happy to rest him anyway.

Dominguez, Yates, Sangare & McAtee are available.

Rotate & manage the minutes for Murillo, Milenkovic & MGW.

Kali is the only fit striker, that is eligible - so that could be interesting.

I think we've taken 5 or 6 from the academy, so perhaps a few may get minutes?

Agreed. But if rumors are true, what is our strongest team?

Sels/John?
-
Savona Milenkovic Murillo Williams
Does anyone of M&M and Williams need a breather? Morato at left back is a no go. Is there anyone from the youth setup to step in?
-
Yates Dom, with Sangare subbing?
Sturm har speed and composure in the middle, Dom is perfect at breaking up at speed.
-
Ndoye MacManCity whothehellisleftatthewing
Do we change formation without enough wingers?
-
Kali on top, but who can back him up?

So we ignore the massive game against Leeds on Sunday?
The waste of all the hard work, sadly has already happened with the mistakes made so far.
Nothing wrong with utilising our expensively assembled squad. That’s what it was bought for.
Play the strongest team because we don’t know when we will be in Europe again?
I’d rather play our strongest, well rested team on Sunday.
We don’t know when will be in the Prem again.

That sounds horrible to me.

How many times in the last few years have we bought non 4-5 first team players in the second half of matches against Blackpool, or Rochdale or the likes in a bid to desperately try and stay in a match we should be winning easily?

I'm sick of it personally, and doing it in Europe is just ridiculously embarrassing for the club.

No Anderson, CHO, Jesus, Wood, Taiwo, Hutchinson, Bakwa, Douglas Luiz, Zinchenko, Aina or Cunha for tonight

Gonna be shite. McAtee, Kalimuendo, MGW and Ndoye are our only attacking players and two of them can’t shoot

Don't change more than 4-5 players at the same time, because you end up with 11 individuals on a pitch and they will always play worse than an actual team.
