Alert Team
It's that time of year again......

What do we think? England to breeze to another Grand Slam? Scotland to stop being utter shite and surprise a few people?

England have named their team ahead of the match with France on Saturday evening:

Replacements: J George (Saracens), M Mullan (Wasps), K Sinckler (Harlequins), T Harrison (Northampton), J Haskell (Wasps), D Care (Harlequins), B Te'o (Worcester), J Nowell (Exeter).

So what do we think? Can England continue their fine winning run (14 and counting?) and chalk up another Six Nations' title?

I reckon we will.

1. England
2. Ireland
3. Wales
4. Scotland
5. France
6. Italy

Can't wait. Love the six nations.

I hope England don't do their one step forward, two steps back. Think we have the ability to walk it IF they don't think they've just got to turn up and can stroll it!

It is about the only time in life I can imagine saying I wish BBJ absolutely no luck at all !!! :14:

I try (no pun intended) to get into rugby but just can't

The aim of the game is to put the ball down over the try line. The equivilant to scoring a goal. I get fed up watching the process of the ball being put down over the line yet i can't see
it as there are a load of blokes piled ontop of the ball!. Then we have to wait and watch it on tv to find out what happened. Nah, not for me.

Imagine turning up at villa park and not seeing a goal scored. :3:

Ireland have the best coach and England the best players.
So Wales will probably win it....

I do hope so BBJ cos it will make Mr KK a very happy Welshman :14:

I have a feeling Wales may be scuppered by the absence of Warren Gatland. No disrespect to Rob Howley, but they fell just short in the autumn internationals, and I can't help thinking Gatland may have made the difference?

In any case, I don't care - my in-laws are Welsh, and have given me plenty of shit over the past few years, so last year was especially sweet, and long may it continue!!

The six nations bringing English fans singing a song they haven't got a clue what it means and where it originated.

Swing Low Sweet Chariot is an old Southern States Slave song.

Saying that England winning the tournament is probably the most likely outcome.

My Mom used to love listening to Paul Robeson who was 1 of the original singers of this way back Mom's time. It shouldn't be sung as the England anthem in my view

For those who don't know from back then, here's the link

Great result not a great performance. Plenty to build on but the points are the main thing!

Yeah, happy with that. 15 on the spin, but they got the job done. I have to say, I switched to the rugby at half time, and then stuck with it while glancing at the Villa game on the laptop.

Scotland looked tasty earlier, I must admit. Could be a real battle for the title this year, which would be great.

It is not a happy KK household this weekend, with the loss yesterday re football and Wales losing too :21:

I'm going to forecast that Italy will, like the dish, run away with the wooden spoon this time round. Apart from that, any of the others could win it though, of course, England look the most likely.
My wish is that they fetch up at Lansdowne Road on the last Saturday with it all to play for between Ireland and themselves.
(And that Ireland hammer them, naturally.....)
But - there is a lot can happen in the next two rounds and the only real probabilities are that Italy will ship another couple of heavy losses.
