Single Market & Customs Union

Coming from someone who won't condone the threats of hanging people of a certain political persuasion I'll take your comment about my perceived anger with a pinch of salt alongside your claim you're a pacifist.

In terms of aggression I saw little of it from the leave campaigners (cox incident aside) during the referendum yet the abusive, confrontational behaviour of the hysterical remoaners seems to be escalating by the month. It is also now typical of the brainwashed Corbynistas in the last few years, snowflakes who can't understand what democracy is all about and the fact you dont always get a what you want. This unruly behaviour is silently encouraged by Corbyn, McDonnell and the other lunatics now in prominent position in a once respectful political party, promising people a socialist utopia that never works and could never be achieved.

Actually Notts, it is an EU issue...

Spain should be suspended from the EU in accordance with Article 7 of the Treaty of European Union (2007).

Whether the EU Commissioners gloss over it is another matter since the EU had already backed Spain’s right to block the referendum.

Moonay, those to are attempting to personalise their abuse by talking about teachers - totally over the line of acceptability and disrespect.

They weren't saying that teachers were like that. Just that they hoped that teachers wouldn't be like that. For either side.

There's a difference.

He is right though. Teachers are left wing on the whole. Overwhelming evidence to support that.

The people out on Socialist Workers Party marches each week are Philosophy and History graduates, not plumbers and taxi drivers.

Those who can’t do: teach.
Those who can’t teach: protest.

Momo ......with no smiley or winky face thing following that, I can only assume you're serious ...... in which case, there's no real point in coming back to you with a response........to either statement.

That said, maybe you have a point when it come to those who taught you!
;o)

It should be taken for granted that Notts doesn't want anybody hung. What kind of brush are people happily tarring him with.

It's not surprising not many right wingers are teachers, all that helping others instead of serving self interest....it's not for them !

Do you want to make that point again removing the inflamatory language and personal insults...

Momo, if you are one of the moderators, then disgrace on you for coming out with such bias. I am a teacher, and have worked with many over the years. Give me a teacher any day to a lawyer, tax accountant, banker, insurance sales person or...even worse, politician.

You use the term 'left wing' in an insulting manner when actually it is a compliment. Someone who puts people's needs first before profit is Ok in my book.

I think you ought to apologise.

Why should it be taken for granted? He's had numerous opportunities to condone that banner, I even asked that we gave him time to do so before rushing to judgement, yet he hasn't done so. I honestly didn't think he supported that view, but given the lack of condemnation what is the logical conclusion one should draw?

Do I want to make the point again? No, it was perfectly expressed first time that I was careful to ensure was free from personal insults and inflammatory language - though of course feel free to point them out.

Oh aye...and how do you know that mystic Meg?

He hasn't condemned these loonies and doubt he will but there you go.

I can guarantee you one thing though Meg...if this had been done by a UKIP supporter he would now be jumping around, foaming at the mouth and getting his little EU knickers in a right twist.

Over to you Notts.

Notts you are doing it again, discriminating again against a whole group of people because of their profession this time. Genuine question, why is it you hold such discriminatory views? What if one of your pupils expressed an interest to be a lawyer, how would you treat them?

It may be escaping you but the term 'left wing' is being sullied by certain people who attach themselves to this label whose vile actions and behaviour are no better than those on the far right.

I can assure you I don’t use the term ‘left wing’ to be insulting. (I use it somewhat reluctantly anyway since the terms left wing & right wing are nowadays to do with what your view on immigration is and nothing else. But that’s a different gripe...)

Young people are extremely vunerable when it comes to new ideas. Teachers imposing their beliefs on children - without having any sort of counter-argument - are wrong to do so.

And it’s nothing to do with teachers spreading things that’s I agree/disagree with. The point is that many of them aren’t playing with a straight bat and must be challenged.

Far right wing, emphasis on the word far, I would say is still associated with a certain view on immigration. Left wing is now morphing from those with liberal outlooks to those with more hardcore political views and ideologies.

In regarding teaching I'll reiterate what I said the other day, that is should be neutral, free from political prejudices and views. A lack of balance or alternate counter argument as alluded to is extremely dangerous and extremely unethical given the regard in which pupils hold teachers (or at least should) and take everything they say as gospel. I assume that teachers have a code of conduct and whilst I can making an educated guess at what it contains I don't know if it states they should be teaching with impartiality and not imposing their political beliefs on others as it is a form of indoctrination. If not it is something the government needs to address with punitive measures for those that breach it.

I don't know it, but I am happy to assume it until proven, you know like the human rights we agreed to abide by as part of Europe.

What's are the thoughts of various posters on Paedophiles??? Do you condem them, do you condem them all, or some or none ?
(bear in mind that the answer will be used to show how hypocritical some of the arguments made in this thread have been, so choose wisely !)

The biggest influences on kids are their parents and their values plus television, video games, the internet and mobile phone technology. Research shows that teachers have about 14% influence on children's behaviour.

Your arguments are simplistic and ill-informed. Try and stop reading the Sun, Sport, Mail, Express.

Goodness only knows what you do for a living.

I'm sure that I won't be a great loss, but if I don't receive an apology or apologies I won't be posting on here again. You can argue amongst yourselves about which one of you three has the most extreme views. It'll be quite a tough decision.

You're getting excited again, that came across as bollocks both in execution and content.

Edit....regarding the paedo thing they are all to be condemned but really don't know where that takes us.

The only person with extreme views on this thread is you, Your failure to condemn the actions of them Nazi Labour Supporters tory hanging banner on numerous occasions prove that you think it's ok to hang tories.
What a sick and twisted person you are and you're supposedly a teacher, What a scary World we live in.

Notts, I'm afraid this is a typical response. You are seeking to normalise your own extreme views by demanding apologies when none are required to justify they are acceptable. I'm not sure if this is deliberate or a default action. Either way if you truly hold these beliefs and can't see any alternate view it's myopic and quite frankly shocking.
