Sincil Bank increased capacity

Casperimp

Vital 1st Team Regular
Has anybody had chance to go down and look at the stadium recently?

It looks as though 100 seats have been added in the corner on Eventbrite between the CO-OP and the South Park (BM) also the solid block that gas appeared between the St Andrew's Stand (Selenity) and the Stacey West.

Looking at the size of the solid block it could be an extra 200/250 seats. I am guessing it would take the capacity to around 10,300 to 10,350. Anybody been down and seen if these stands are being put in place?

Is the solid block seating?

The Solid Block it titled 2018/19 Members, which would suggest it is more of a "package" space like the Box's rather than traditional Seats.

They were adding some seats in the Selenity Stand, too. Think Liam confirmed that in a Q&A.

At the back of the Selenity, where that big, flat concrete block is/was and also down one of the sides where some seats were removed for other areas of the Stadium.

Maybe it's for Grimsby fans when they come for their match and we are talking about a different sort of member!

Yes Liam confirmed it to me about the extra ones in the Selenity stand ! Not many though 10/12 at most down the lhs!Taken out years ago!

I worked out the capacity last summer after the TV gantry was built, and came up with this:

Co-op: Upper tier 2,768; lower tier 2,920 = 5,688
Selenity: 1,348
BridgeMac: 710
SW: 1,924
Bike shed: 194
TOTAL: 9,864

Does not include c.30 more in the Directors' Box or executive boxes.

So how did we reah 10000+ for the last home game( or was it the poff game)?!?!
Bike shed i believe is 225!

Indeed we had 10005 for Yeovil game.
Thought the selenity held 1450ish?
The coop used to hold 5770 but lost 90 seats with gantry.
I know they don't include the boxes in the total.

I make it 5680 in the coop, 1450 selenity, 1924 SW, 225 bike shed and 720 in the BM stand making 9989...

So allowing for 190 exec boxes and 30 directors capacity is circa 10084. Looking at eventbrite we have

Approx
165 coop upper
335 coop lower
48 BM
7 selenity

Which adds up to 555 tickets left out of 7746 season ticket seats. Or 7191 which sounds a tad high so I can only assume more areas (other tha bikeshed and SW) are exempt from season ticket sales

How much of BM is being sold for season tkts? Presumably east half has to be left for away people. And a bit for the dividing line.

Seems a lot of co-op still available.
Quite disappointing
