I'm not too enthusiastic about Shackelton, but not every signing needs to get the juices flowing, a Championship squad needs steady Eddies. It's good that he recognised his career had gone stale at Leeds and chose to leave the rugby league town for the sunnier pastures of the footballing city.
24 year old, 3 year contract - if he applies himself well and stays fit he'll potentially be a very good servant.

I'm surprised at this Bully,i thought he'd be out the door.Mediocre at best in my view and when i saw him in a academy game at Chezzy v QPR i think it was not so long since he was very poor.I'm hopin he's the 3rd choice at best or we're in for anutha long hard season if that's the quality of the signings to come.UTB

signings so far with 5 weeks before our first game, a poor keeper and an injury prone left sided player. Surely, we would have been better off keeping Osbourne, proven at Champs level as opposed to a Leeds reject who is at best another gamble.
