This rumour keeps on popping up. It's popped up today because Spurs posted a video of Siggy's best goals on Facebook so it's very tenuous.

However, I wish we had never sold him. If Dele picks up an injury Siggy would suit that role perfectly! So hopefully there may be truth in some of the rumours that we are interested in taking him back.

Good squad player/back up to Eriksen/Alli but he isn't going to accept that, which is the reason he left in the first place. This is a no go

Agree, he'll go where he'll get first team football. Whilst he scored goals and looked classy, he really did go missing for long periods of games. He didn't look that different last season either when I saw him on televised matches so I would be nervous if we brought him back.

Don't mind Sigurdsson but I think he is where he should be.

Hes much better than swansea. Hes not one of those players that can play anywhere across the midfield, he needs to have a set position. He would do well at everton who want him.

He wouldn't come back just to ride the bench... He's definitely good enough as a rotation option behind Kane and I was always a big fan, so hopefully we pull it off.

Think he would push Son for a starting place

Well, he would be the only true back-up we have to Dele though. We've been lucky that Dele hasn't picked up an injury in the last two seasons. Eriksen just isn't played in that role by Poch.

Like you, I don't think he'd want to go back to being a squad player over star player.

I always rted him. He has the ability to influence a game and was still quite young when he lft us, and I always wondered what might have been had we decided he was 'the' main midfielder to build around? At Swansea the players aren't as good as what he could have been here with, so it i still a bit of a false reflection of his ability.

As most of us think, he wouldn't want to be a bench warmer here and it is not as though we would pay him hansomely for that role is it? If he decided to come here then I would welcome him, but I wonder if he would be one to buy into all the running about that is expected?

Rumours gathering pace that a deal is looking very close for Siggy. I would still be surprised if it did happen but it would give us some great depth in the position Dele plays. Poch did say in a roundabout way that he wished we still had Siggy so we know that he wants him. Everton tried to sign him but ended up with Klaasen, so maybe Siggy had already chosen another destination because that Everton move would have been good for him.

We can do worse than him. He knows where the back of the net is. He can cross the ball and his shooting is very good. Free kicks are pretty decent as well an area we should do better in.

Poch seems to like him, I'm still not convinced he'll do anything to improve , he won't get a starting place and I can't see him sitting in his hands and thinking he's made a wise move - why would he change his career plan so much - he asked to leave before because he didn't like being a squad player - why would he be different now?

I'd rather we looked elsewhere.

In the ideal world EX, it would be great to get in some new meat. Is there any truth to the rumours?

Do you have a preference?

Fee agreed with Everton

30m plus 135k a week. Nice for siggy but we wouldnt pay that. We need some 21 year olds who will play for 30-40k a week.

Apparently their chairman has given him a war chest of over 100m plus the lukaku money if you believe reports.

I wonder when the penny will drop with Levy that he has to raise wages for the best players to keep them.

Everton will be close to top 4.

They have a better team than Arsenal and United now - especially if they get in VVD from Soton
