Being 1st in a M62 corridor sport played by hardly anyone in the world doesn't really mean much to most of the world.

That makes me laugh when the winners of the super league grand slam or whatever its called play the winners of the Australian equivalent. The winners declaring themselves as WORLD champions

Not quite as ridiculous as Baseball, ice hockey or American Football then.

Baseball is massive in the USA, Japan, much of central America and some of the South American countries.

Ice Hockey is also massive in north Europe, Canada and Russia along with the States,

American football is the BIGGEST OVAL BALL on the planet 100's of times bigger in viewing figures alone than RL could even dream about, amateur college and high school games get bigger attendances in individual games than RL get in the the whole weekend in this country, RL isn't even the biggest form of rugby it is a fraction compared to union.

Only you clueless eggies think RL is actually relevent other than in Northern England and Eastern Australia.

There are only two countries in this world where there is a professional league and in one of those it is on the decline so much so TV bosses and schedulers are showing less and less interest in the product.
