Ahh I didn’t realise that it wasn’t big money then I definitely prefer it being our own brand, for some reason I thought naming rights brought us big money and options.

Hahaha I was pretty surprised at the real numbers myself.

The way it becomes real money, is the 10yr agreement length, so a 10m/yr deal is worth 100m amortized. So you can count that as revenue when making a larger player purchase.

I've seen speculation that we could get as much as 25-30m/yr, because our stadium is a multi-purpose revenue generator more date thru a year.... Concerts, NFL, etc.

So, you're not totally off, but its not clear as day.

Way I was told it last year, we had 'several' front of shirt deals line up, but much depended on our Survival/European participation.

I expect any new deal will be left until the last moment to see how we've recovered and if European football was back on the cards for the season after that.

There was talk last year of a big rich Chinese car company being lined up..it wouldn't surprise me if we leveraged the stadium name as part of the new front of shirt deal - the other events at Spurs have to some extent a much deeper reach to certain non-football demographics.
