Shirt Sponsorship

So , as we begin preparations for next season , the new shirts are on show , with the AIA logo entering its final season .

The powers that be , will be searching for a New Sponsor , hopefully one that doesn’t need Red as its primary Colour .

Does anybody have any preference as to who we should turn to ?

Who would be a good fit for the club, how much would we be looking for, ?

The bindippers are collecting £60 m , manure around £50 m .

Would £40 m be realistic ?

Has our recent problems downgraded our worth ?

Make your thoughts known to everyone .

Our current deal is around eleven million .

Surely we have people with enough contacts to get more than that .?

I got a new kit and two hundred pounds a year for my Lads under thirteen team in 1988.

I like the clever suggestions from TQ and 82 .

Keep them coming in , it’s the close season , make it as funny as you can

I don't care who the shirt sponsors are. If the shirt is designed well then i'll buy it. Tbh i reckon i'm in the minority here cos so many have commented on the sponsors over the years.

I doubt i'll buy another as i own 2 of the most recent shirts. The anniversary home shirt and the black away from last season. I do wish they'd settle on those 2 distinct colourways for future strips and use the 3rd for more vibrant or daring colours.

Trouble is Walt, KFC would be red!

How about the IT department of French Connection UK?......... FCUK IT

It seems crazy to me that the stadium naming rights wouldn’t be tied in with this.

With the exposure the stadium gets from concerts and boxing events etc I can see some major airline, tech giant or financial services (probably from Asia, Middle East or the States) getting involved.

There could well be a massive deal presented come the end of the year or shortly thereafter.

Separate deals, more money? Who knows?

7 years the stadium has been open. Ridiculous there has never been a naming rights deal in that time. Even more of a black mark against the Lewis family. The investment there could of helped

There is a flip side to that coin.

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is turning into a brand destination.

Not as quickly as some would like.
Softly softly catchy monkey.

The reason is very simply, that having "Totenham Hotspur Stadium" on everything, as opposed to "Dickhead's Union Bank Stadium" is actually worth more in promoting the club brand, than any revenue paid from some outside company.

The investment for stadium rights its not as big as you might think. For example, Goons get £5m/yr from Emirates to put their name on there. (the shirt deal is an additional 45m I beleive). Everton scored a cherry deal at 10m, and in a report on 75 diff stadiums sponsor values around the world, Real Madrid can expect 21m euros.

Personally, I like it. Screams independence in a money driven world, whilst at the same time possibly being the smarter money move in the long run.

And it Looks Good.

I've no doubt it will be a betting App unless they are being banned.
They are.

Way I was told it last year, we had 'several' front of shirt deals line up, but much depended on our Survival/European participation.

I expect any new deal will be left until the last moment to see how we've recovered and if European football was back on the cards for the season after that.

There was talk last year of a big rich Chinese car company being lined up..it wouldn't surprise me if we leveraged the stadium name as part of the new front of shirt deal - the other events at Spurs have to some extent a much deeper reach to certain non-football demographics.
