Sheffield Wednesday have been given an extra 1,100 tickets.

Thats a surprise for me, where will they put them? Makes us a nice little earner though.

Even more surprised that the police have agreed to this after past pre-seasons.
Me too, the Celtic game mayhem and the cancelled Leicester game spring to mind.
3000 Wendy's having a few light ales to start the weekend off, what could go wrong....

Fully agree with the decision to grant Wednesday additional tickets. Should make for a good atmosphere and large crowd not to mention the extra revenue.
We have come a long way since that Leicester farce back in 2012 and the subsequent decision to play larger clubs U-21 sides pre-season with gates of 400.

Wee lesson from the management, organise decent friendlies = generate enough cash for signing on fee for non league/league two player. Next year Boro, Sunderland and Leeds.

If I remember rightly, it was Alan Shearer's debut after £15m move from Blackburn. Ferdinand, Ginloa, Albert, et al and I was there. I think they won 2-0

yes, steve Holmes gave a very convenient penalty away in front of the gathered paparazzi behind the South Park goals for Shearer to score a pen.
