The second of three games in a week and it couldn’t be tougher. Always a hard game at the Blades ground.

Both teams drew their last match, they are unbeaten, two points above us with only 3 goals conceded in their 7 matches so far.

They also have the advantage of an extra day’s recovery time and a home game.

Just relegated they’ve had a huge turnover of players.

Incoming three transfers worth £6.8m including Kieffer Moore, plus Tyrese Campbell (Stoke), Callum O’Hare (Coventry) and Sam McCallum (Norwich) on frees, plus three loans from PL clubs.

Transfers out (25 players!) four worth a total of £38.7m. It was a free transfer out for our ex-player, Ollie McBurnie to Las Palmas of Spain’s top flight La Liga, he would have been good for us but out of our reach, we couldn’t afford his wages anyway with the recent salary clampdown.

So a far superior squad of players than us but football is a great leveller and there is always the optimism of springing a surprise, draw anyone?

40’ Peart-Harris misses an absolute sitter, one on one with the goalie.
Disastrous Tymon tonight, innocuous free kick going nowhere and a gift for the Blades.
1-0 43’ Tymon own goal, pretty pathetic defending really, the ball was going out, that was so preventable.
45’ the whistle goes for half-time

HT: Sheff Utd 1 (Tymon 43’ o.g.) - Swansea 0
An uphill task second-half now after playing so well first-half.
Could and should have been Swans leading at half-time.

52’ Tymon lost it, having a mare, nearly gave another goal away, caught in possession on the edge of the penalty area.
Where’s Naughton please.

71’ Vipotnik hasn’t touched the ball yet
72’ Allen, Abdulai on. Eom, Fulton off
76’ Tymon off. Naughton on.

78’ corners and crosses into the box a waste of time, Sheffield too strong in the air.
79’ Another corner, Allen curls the ball out of play, five corners each so far.

89’ Grimes free-kick, low shot gets through but saved.
89’ Vipotnik heads down and over the bar.
91’ another Swans free-kick, Allen takes it, headed out.
94’ Goodbye Swans, well played and should have been a draw.
Blades defenders too strong, besides us being blunt up front plus we gave them a goal on a plate.
