It’s Easter weekend with two top matches, Sheff Utd away on Friday, Middlesbrough at home on Monday.

With little time for our globetrotters on International duty to get back and recover in time makes the first fixture even tougher as we have to travel up to Sheffield on the Thursday.

Swans face the Blades coming off the back of two defeats, Wrexham and Coventry.

Wrexham blunted the Blades with a 1-2 away win before the break.

Pretty poor game so far. Not a great deal of action in either box although they're relying more on our mistakes for chances.

What a turnaround after going 3-1 down. More urgency with the subs on and end to end attacking play. Widell unlucky not to score with Bindon sliding clearance off the line, their goalie beaten. Nice to see Idah back, looking sharp and scoring, plus he had an assist for Eom’s goal
Really it was a game of two poor defences. We’ve conceded eight goals in the last three games, not good enough.
It’s pleasing when you see home supporters leaving before the final whistle, a rare sight for us in away games.
 
We drop two places from 14th to 16th in the table after today’s results.
11 points away from a play-off spot, 13 points from a relegation spot.
6 games to go, 18 points to play for.
 
We were quite poor defensively yesterday and made so many basic passing errors. I do think we need to learn how to hold onto the ball better with this squad. There was one potential counterattack situation we had where our player (I don’t remember who) was under no pressure and just kicked the ball down field and we ended up losing it and they came back at us again. Happens too much in my opinion. Ward seems like a good person, solid pro and has had an excellent career but I thought he struggled a bit yesterday. The whole defence did in fairness.

Positives though, Widell looked good, beat the fullback a fair few times and would have scored if not for an excellent bit of defending. Vipi getting another goal gives him some breathing room in the golden boot race and Idah coming back and making an impact can only be a good thing. I’ll also say that although we conceded 3 again, that was the first away league game where we’ve scored 3 and it’s nice to see that there are some goals outside of Vipotnik.

Galbraith is a miss for the rest of the season and hopefully we’ll see him in a Swans shirt again for the next one.
 
yeah agree @sit_down_jack , Ward struggled and you can see why he doesn't get picked and apart from Tymon, our back line is really, really poor. Burgess, as he has done all season, can't make basic passes and far too often he puts us under pressure from simple situations just passing out to his full-back.

Idah was the main positive for me and I was surprised we got back from 3-1 as we looked jaded by then. fulton was a surprise quality inside the box.

As much as Cabango has been a good servant for us and is the captain, I think we might have to move on from both him and Burgess if we want to make this style of football work, just not enough pace between either of them. You can see where Sheehan’s priorities were if he thought Burgess was a good partner for Cabango. We know Ward is here temporarily but I can’t see them getting in 2 new CBs. Lissah coming back will be interesting though, will he be fullback or in the middle or both?
 
Sheff Utd’s poor run continued after they lost at Bristol City today, making it six matches without a win.
The Roy Hodgson effect for the Robins, two games in charge, two wins.
