This would not be a surprise - his love for his boyhood club was made clear as day within his autobiography.

Whatever happens he will always be a club legend and will certainly give his all during his remaining time at City no matter how long that turns out to be.

Anyone else get the impression this is simply a protracted contract negotiation?

A few weeks ago he was reported to be ending his career with us, now he's leaving in 2019.

I'd usually say, "Well do one then", but this is Sergio we're talking about. Give him whatever the hell he wants!

Well it all depends on the type of glass and the shape of the barmaid that's doing the pouring.

In this case it's a pint sized inside forward with a penchant for hitting the back of the throat. He will have given his prime years to the City cause before doing a Roy Keane and returning to his one true love.
