According to percy we are targeting 2 keepers with possibly 3 gone hennessy Turner and vlach

If sels started as number 1 this season...would people be happy?

Forest will look to add a number of new signings ahead of the new season, with two goalkeepers likely to join.

Corinthians goalkeeper Carlos Miguel was regularly scouted last season, while Forest have also considered a renewed move for Sam Johnstone, Crystal Palace’s England international

We are still being strongly linked with Johnstone which suggests that it’s a bit more than lazy journalism.

I do remember it being mentioned at Wolves that Nuno always preferred to have two good keepers so maybe it’s that. Miguel will take time to settle and adapt so Nuno feels we need someone now.

Certainly removes any remote doubt as to Turner and Vlach’s futures…

but these journos literally have about a ten percent strike rate, i mean really

There needs to be 'actual' competition for that No.1 spot.... Sels was an upgrade on what we had, but if we can get a better keeper or 2, then fine by me.

Hennessy was more of a coach in the end & there just in case.

Vlach turned out unwilling or unable to compete, Turner makes too many mistakes and as such, both were sussed out by Nuno.

If Nuno stays, the fact that he was a keeper makes me confident that we will seek better solutions and depth in that position.

If the facts on Wikipedia are right, isn't Miguel 25 , but has only played about 20 games ?

its understood they messed up his contract and the release clause aspect and they actually valued him at 40m something. he does look good
