Well after two opening day defeats in two National League seasons it is good to start with a win. Well done to Dave and all the lads. Quite surprised Molineux wasn't even on the bench and naturally Luke Williams wasn't. Away at Chesterfield on Tuesday. Fingers crossed.

Watched the game on the Live Stream, thought Pools were good value for their halftime lead but lost the initiative at the start of the second half.
Overall Pools probably deserved the result, though they still appeared a little short of match sharpness, hopefully this will come.
I'd anticipate a few changes to midfield and forward players for Tuesday's match.
