Old Poolie
Vital Squad Member
Looking back at my thread at the start of last season I am conscious of a strong feeling of deja vous!
We've just come out of, another season of traumatic events on and off the pitch. Numerous new players have been recruited to bolster a failing squad, hopes of a better season abound amongst the Poolie faithful.
For myself I just want to see a winning side in our home games, one that fights through to the final whistle. Promotion is always the ambition at this time of year, but realistically just avoiding any dalliance with the prospect of relegation would be a vast improvement on seasons past!
What are the impressions of my fellow Poolies ahead of the season kick off?
