Score Predictions V Boreham Wood

Make no mistake about it, this is a tough game. Remember from our 'Who Has Had The Easiest Start' article that Boreham Wood have had the second-hardest set of fixtures after Southport, yet they are only a win off the play-off places. They don't score many goals (20) but don't concede them either (11) - only Tranmere (10) have conceded fewer. They have not conceded more than 1 goal in any game this season. I tipped them as dark horses before the start of the season because they have some very good players and are full-time. They will be very close to a play-off place come the end of the season, and may even be in them. We need to beat them tomorrow.

They obviously benefit from their location so close to London in terms of attracting players, but Im amazed that they can survive as a FT team on those gates.

They have income from other sources including:

"The Astro and Changing Room facility was built in conjunction with the Football Foundation, Boreham Wood Football Club, Our Club Chairman and Hertsmere Borough Council at a cost of £1.3 million pounds.
We are often the chosen Training Centre for BW PASE Ltd, Reading, Watford Football Club, Arsenal Ladies, Arsenal Development and a number of other professional clubs from all over the country, on their visits to London. Including Wigan Athletic & Cardiff City. As well as local senior and junior sides from all over North London and Hertfordshire."
