Far from the team I think we all expect to start next week. Absolutely dreadful so far.
 
Genuinely think that JWP needs to go just because we won't be able to break teams down but can throw him and DCL on and grealish can win us a couple of set pieces

Pretty turgid and cautious from open play atm

Does seem slightly depressing that we actually have some good attackers this time but Southgate seems a bit reluctant to really unleash it
 
So, all of the squad are back after the European finals. Can anyone now explain why 3 not in the squad get game time today? Sure, Alexander-Arnold is to be replaced. Surely Southgate knew who that was before this game!

Was thinking the same, why is Lingard who is not even in the squad getting minutes? Such a strange build up like the commentators just touched on.
 
Although should he of been included after his performances for West Ham? Yet Rashford is captain and his season and performances have been well below what is expected.

Bonkers really. I know the CL final has caused a few problems but having Godfrey, Watkins, JWP, Lingard, White all involved when they might not even be with the team next week is bizarre
 
That was a pretty dull game apart from a 15 min spell in the second half. Must admit I’d got one eye on the cricket too which was a little more interesting even though it’s petering out for a draw
