SB and EPC Pitches

I like the idea of receiving a user's manual with a football pitch.

More than anything, the installation of a specialist pitch to promote good football is an indication of how far this club has come. A far cry from the Todd Jordan days when we were paying £100 per week and unable to afford scans for injured players. That was only six years ago.

I presume this marks the end of having the same surface at both the LNER and the EPC?

Just been confirmed in the following article that new LED advertising boards are part of the SB pitch upgrade in the following article:

and its a 'fibresand' pitch

That's an interesting development if true about the LED advertising boards. There must be done good potential income from those to get them installed rather than just rented for big matches as we've seen in recent years.

If it's those awful electronic things with moving images I'm not in favour whatever the income stream. They detract/ruin the experience when watching on screen and to a lesser extent when at the match. Bearing in mind the warning 'there may be flashing images in the next item' when watching the news etc surely the woke/health brigade can get these boards banned at spectator events.

It is true from Liam in the article

"Other upgrades are also taking place, and Scully reveals to offthepitch.com that LED advertising will be used for the first time at the ground from the start of next season."

Has anyone got the full article?
It is worth signing up for the 7 day free trial (no financial commitment just name and e-mail address) as there are several good articles on the site, most with a financial flavour to them, but covering the major leagues across Europe.

This one is about Real Madrid, Barcelona & Juventus continuing to push ahead with the European Super League. They claim the other 9 clubs cannot leave unless there is a unanimous decision from all 12 parties to dissolve the arrangement and that they will come back with new proposals later this year or maybe next,

According to Barcelona President Laporte, "the issue with the ESL's introduction was "not knowing how to explain it properly, and it is important, crucial, to explain this project well."

Idiot.
