Alert Team
As for many kids, he's referred to as yet another 'wonderkid'..being included in first-team training is probably more about the lack of numbers than any immediate plans for upwards promotion by Nuno..
From all accounts he is expected to make the grade - as always, I hope he does, but asking about him last night, the view I got from a current player was that he'd need to fill his frame before we can really see what he's got, apparently very skilful, quick off the mark and good with both feet...

Yago Santiago has been called into Tottenham Hotspur first-team training by Nuno ahead of their game against Crystal Palace this weekend.
Encouraging signs
Santiago joined Tottenham two years ago from Celta Vigo and the Spaniard has shown plenty of signs of promise at development squad level.
He has even been described as a wonderkid by some media sources, due to his level of ability.
With a number of Tottenham’s players away on international level, Nuno seemingly wanted to get a closer look at the teenager himself.
The 18-year-old centre-forward was pictured in Tottenham’s training alongside senior stars like Eric Dier and Dele Alli.
Another bright prospect?
Santiago may not quite have the hype around him that Dane Scarlett does, but he still looks a very bright prospect.
His ability in possession has caught the eye at times, and he has already opened his goalscoring account for the season at development squad level.

It seems unlikely that Santiago will be backed to play a part this weekend, unless Tottenham’s injury problems really do worsen.
But the fact that he is now getting called into first-team training has to be seen as a positive sign for his development.
