Sangare

Be interesting to know where you think the blame lies

I'm not blaming anybody

Think we've recruited well and we are competing well

Like I say it's a tough league. Simple as that

Who can I blame at our club for the Premier League being tough?

I think we deserve to still be in the league next season and can then build some more

The squad is better than ever IMO

We aren't being outclassed in the games we lose generally

Have lost a lot of game by a single goal that could have been draws

And drawn a lot of games that could have been wins

We aren't far off being a mid table side if we can stay up
Absolutely.
We are not getting spanked like we were last season, luck, VAR, whatever, it will stop, the worry is we are running out of games.

That’s the old ifs and buts though isn’t it.
Probably just as many wins that could have been draws and draws that could have been losses.
I don’t think we can moan about our position relative to our performances. We are where we deserve to be.

Interesting POV but if the squad is better than ever why are we in similar / slightly worse position than last year. We have drawn home & away with Luton & have only 3 more points than them. They have spent the square root of FA we have spent £250m - £300m

It also means Luton are running out of time and they still have 3 to catch up
There next four games are very very difficult, hard to see where they get more than a point, Bournemouth at home is there easiest but Bournemouth are a good attacking side so I expect they will win leaving Luton nil points from 4 games.
Time for us to cash in on our easier next 4

one word: time. we need more of it cos we've been playing catch up from the very first seconds after the last play off penalty went in. we also have had to catch up while staying in the league and financially having one arm tied behind our backs. if we can stay up im quite positive we will see some sunny uplands at forest.

You could easily have written that about Leeds last season. What league are they playing in this season?

So it's Sangare and Nuno and recruitment blame time?

Seeing as we can't blame refs or VAR this week?

Personally I think we've recruited very well overall

Premier League is so tough and competitive

We've signed some real quality

In amongst the disappointments
The position in the table and a squad that 2 pretty highly rated managers have struggled to balance. with 7 or 8 under 23;s starting games with the 'men' to support them being either unfit or non existant.

Absolute shambles of a recruitment strategy which is blatantly what happens when you have 3 or 4 people steering that particular ship.

Breaking financial guidelines leading to a blatantly negative jan window too

Absolutely recruitment is to blame, just compounded by changing things half way through

How anyone could even suggest that recruitment isnt to blame is quite puzzling

I think we've assembled a squad capable of being comfortable in Premier League if we stay up this season

That takes some doing in 2 seasons from the squad we had after the playoff final
