Real Madrid should sign Dele Alli, but not for £100m – Michel Salgado
Former Real Madrid defender Michel Salgado wants Los Blancos to sign Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli, but does not believe the 20-year-old is worth £100 million.
Alli is regarded as one of England’s finest talents and has come on leaps and bounds over the last 18 months in the capital.
After winning the PFA Young Player of the Year last season, Alli has proven he is no one-season wonder and has 11 goals in 24 league games this campaign.
However, as a result of his fine performances, the England international has been linked with a big-money move to Real Madrid and Salgado believes it is a deal which would be worth doing for the Spanish giants.

“They should pursue him because he is a great player,” Salgado told talkSPORT. “He’s very young; he’s got great ability and has pace as well.
“The problem is that the price is too much. I think if they paid that money (£100m) for Dele Alli it would be crazy. This guy is amazing but can he cope with the pressure at Real Madrid because it is going to be so many more times than at Tottenham.
“Quality on the pitch: he’s got it. The pressure to represent Real Madrid is massive. Hopefully the price is cheaper and they sign him.”
