Overall it was a good win. The first 45 mins, Leeds were poor. Leeds were sitting back waiting for the counter but overall it was sloppy with crosses that were predictable and competently dealt with by Salford. Salford could so easily have a couple of their own.

It all came together for Nketiah and consequently Leeds in the second half.

Nketiah is a fox in the box. The difference between him and Bamford is, he made himself available to the crosses and Bamford couldn't. He brought Costa and Clarke into the game it progressed.

His linked-up play with the wingers were telepathic and its going to be hard to ignore them now.
Klich was mostly pedestrian but turn it on with moments of brilliance.

Quite a few teams went out or struggled against lower teams, no doubt having made changes like us. I think if you get through then it's a good result. It gave some a run out and i agree that Eddie looks like he is the type to get on the end of things. Bamford will start Saturday but now we can have Eddie on the bench and he can be a game changer. You never know it might just have a positive affect on Bamford knowing he needs to take more chances or he'll lose his place.
