Seen people claiming that this is a Gorringe thing but didn’t Matos do his badges with Mangan who is coming in? I have no inside knowledge so could well be “jobs for the boys.” This one I don’t find too bad as coaching staff can come and go and he is at least known to Matos.

If it happens with the DoF then it’ll be a concern. We need someone experienced who will be given free rein to make decisions and not someone being given the job purely through a previous connection.
 
Maye seemed to come with a very decent reputation being at Villa etc. I hope we know what we're doing here with this, Margetson, Allen and Worth all leaving at the same time.
