A much improved England performance today . Even then , England only just snatched victory in the last few minutes. Entertaining game, and far fewer careless mistakes by England than in previous recent games. Open, attacking style of France allowed Engand to counter-attack, and may have papered over some of England's previous defensive weaknesses when put under sustained pressure. Interesting to see how England's next game pans out...
