Rolling Specubollox Thread

Say what you will about Wazza Rooney and the legend/twat/asshole that is JT - they flirted with us, they suggested they wanted to get jiggly in our trophy cabinet but in the end their clubs put their foot down and offered them the sort of money that we thought only we could throw around, but they never, repeat never, snubbed us.

The only reason for signing Isco is that he rhymes with disco and there's probably a half decent chant in it.

:082: very good.

I think they would want too much money for Isco, but also the lad seems to be doing well at the Club.
The Royals will expect a fortune for Isco to help pay for 200 million quid rated 'Arry, for the life of me no idea why he is worth so much.

As good as he is I don't see the need for him, we're well stacked with creative players, 2 Silvas, DeBruyne, Gundogan and then Foden and Diaz pushing for a place in the squad.

Someone to back up and eventually replace Fernandinho and an orthodox winger to challenge/rotate with Sterling/Sane. That's all I think we need this summer save for replacing anyone that wishes to leave.

I agree BD, if Fred is coming and Foden progresses as wilol Diaz, Isco would be a luxury, expecially if they start to dabble with FFP to tie our hands even more, but we need to up the sponsorship that does not cause controversy with FFP.

Harry Kane would be a good buy for us.

Who in their right mind would want to leave?

I guess any who feel they're not being afforded enough playing time, Danilo for example, maybe.

Is there a time when we haven't been linked with Isco? - I mean leaving out obvious ones like before he was born, we had no money etc...

Isco Alert: Could This Be The Signing Of The Summer?

Touch of Déjà Vu?

On 17 June 2013 and while he was applying his trade at Malaga Isco confirmed that he had received offers from Real Madrid and Manchester City. And we all know where he ended up.

Could another concrete City bid lure him away from Spain?

Does this story have any legs?

I certainly think so.

One of our early snubbers, Mr. T. Doesn't fill me with joy.

Spot on. You missed the boat, now sod off. Don't need, don't want.

Off topic I know but with the League cup final against the Arse next week is Mkhitaryan cup tied as he was a sub against Bristol City?

Puel has moved on to blaming City for the Mahrez fallout.

Seems this experienced manager is "unsure" whether a club's approach for a player late in the transfer window is "normal".

Really Claude? You have never, ever in all your years of experience within the football world witnessed a bid for a player as the transfer window is closing?

Trying to deflect responsibility away from the player (Mahrez) and ease his rehabilitation into the squad methinks :048:

I didn't know there was a rule, that you could not ask, and probably City gave Leicester plenty of time, as I understand a number of bids were turned down, plus the fact that they named their price.

Surely don’t need to manage a club to know obvious facts like this one.
I would say he’s having a laugh,

We are being linked with this holding mid, according to the fouth offocial, what do you think?

He looks like a physical dude. I might prefer him over Fred just for the intimidation factor.

Caughtoffside running a line on Sterling, well he did move from the Dippers. Or just the usual bollox.

Got to be pretty unlikely - especially the way things are going?

Only reason I could think of him wanting away (apart from the prestige of being a galactico and Perez' latest toy) would be just being fed up with the continuous negativity towards him from other clubs' fans.
