According to Radlinski on Friday they have sold 8500.
Given in my youth they were taking 20000 plus each time they went it would seem that Wigan is no longer a rugby town as I have no doubt that if we had reached the Pizza Cup Final we would have taken double that figure to Wembley.

Regardless, as a separate issue to this, WHY are we still seeing a general discount structure and freebies etc... to all NHS , Troops, Blue Light employee's?
Granted some of them are working in stressful environments but so are a lot of other workers.

Degrading the competition taking it away from Wembley not a rugby fan. But it used to be a great day out for all rugby league fans not just the ones in the final. The Workington Barrow Whitehaven All great teams from the past. All lost because of greed. The game is dead on its feet. Sad really

Registered members of the FA have always got tickets, it used to be a way of raising funds for amateur clubs or leagues by offering them as a prize in a raffle.

Leagues couldn't sell them on for more than their face value, but they could absolutely include them as a prize in a raffle, where they raised significantly more than the value of the tickets.
