He was really struggling when his illness was first mentioned. I heard a few details which sounded awful.
But it's down to the family whether they want to talk about that or not in public
So I'm not adding anything to that
Assuming you are being sarcastic? Thanks for that Wolfie, really good of you to let us know that you heard something.

When it emerged in the media Kevin was seriously ill I mentioned he had sepsis on here.
I've not seen it mentioned what his illness was anywhere else so I've not added anything to that since and not gone into details I heard which were horrible back then
And obviously sadly he's not recovered
Poor lad
Would you prefer me to gossip about what he was going through?
I only saw Kevin a couple of times in forest shirt, when I first started going regularly in 1998 or so. I think he scored in one. Really powerful striker, a bit like Awoniyi but actually fit.
I remember him going to Everton in the second half of the next season and scoring a bunch of goals (9 in 8 or something like that) to keep them up. I remember feeling so jealous of them having a striker as good as that, who could do things like that; and how utterly fucking ridiculous it had been for us to flog him to Trabzonspor for so little money 6 months earlier.
That is probably the most bizarre and ridiculous transfer decision made in Forest history I think, certainly recent history
I think he had a bit of time with them and a good career, we probably haven't had a striker as good as him until now
Awesome. This short clip shows he had it all.
Goodness it’s easy to forget how bloody good Kev was! Brilliant on the pitch and equally brilliant of it
i was infomed that it was sepsis by the better half because I was possibly suffering with it myself. Soit must have been mentioned quite publcally somewhere. Luckily I dont think it is tho the doctor is pretty serious about getting rid of this wierd stupid infectionYou basically said 'I've heard details about his illness that aren't public but I wont share them on here', which is totally pointless.
Good on you for not sharing them but it was a very Jom-esque post - except he only did it about transfer gossip and not ex-players who have died.
I was a weekend single parent in Gedling, took my daughter to Colwick country park, checked my radio. First game back in the premier league, 3-0 win at Coventry, thought we were on the way.
