Desperately sad news, put vocals to some iconic tracks and was by all accounts a lovely bloke.

Shocked by this. Saw him and the band on the Isle of Wight Ferry bound for the festival a few years back. Drinking tea and chatting with fellow passengers. The complete opposite of his onstage presence the following day. Great shame.
