RIP Jeff Whitefoot

OS says he's died aged 90. One of the Busby Babes, played for Forest for nearly ten years. Not sure I ever saw him play but he was in the Cup Final winning side, and still playing when we finished runners-up to Man Utd in 1966/67.

Never met him but only heard great things about him from those who have

He’d have been getting in a bit by then & that team was exceptional in that season.

Yes, he was part of the first team I ever saw too, though I don't remember us winning the cup in 1959. Can't remember exactly when I started going, but in those days many of the players were here for years !

Grummitt, Hindley, Winfield, Whitefoot, McKinlay...Not sure who was here when !
