Renewal rate - season tickets

I know there is a thread on season tickets but I thought it would be interesting to gauge opinion on renewal rates.

When we had the huge surge this season I thought there would be a significant drop off for next season however now I don't think this will be the case!
Everyone who I know of that got a season ticket for the first time this season and who I have spoken to about it is renewing for next season.

Could we possibly have a 90%+ renewal rate? I suspect a few will want season tickets who didn't get them this year?

I expect we will have at least the same amount of ST holders this next season, but will probably be more, 6000+.

I would be amazed if we didn’t have the same number (or more) of STs by the start of next season.

I think this season we had about 5,800 plus the half season tickets sold around Christmas time. I think demand will exceed supply for next season. UTI.

Actual amount was 5673 somebody told me ! Dont know about half season tkts!
Think uptake will be virtually the same a few dropping out and people replacing them! Capped figure 5700?!?

JIC area might not see as many renewals but I know a few people who like season tickets for the JIC, tough one to call as quite a chunk of the upper tier season ticket holders aren't happy about being moved and /or the price increase.

I would expect most people to renew in the Selenity and COOP stands even those moving out of padded seat areas, as discount on offer for them. There may be a reduction in JIC season tickets as a protest however again families will be scrambling to get into lower block one ahead of turning up on the day for BMF stand. Only way is to buy a season ticket in block one or keep existing seats in present JIC blocks and pay more. Expect block one to be full and then additional season tickets available in upper block one and lower block two which I believe will also sell well. Predict over 6000 this year as only way of guaranteeing a seat is to buy a season ticket as tickets will be fluid for adults in both Stacey West (dependant on away fans) and BMF (Dependant on JIC Demand)

We have four but I’m torn on renewing two of them. My youngest and I will be traveling about the country every other Saturday. So it’s touch and go whether we can get to see three or four games.
Bloody hell!!!

It's definitely a dilemma for people such as yourself. The trouble is it may well be more difficult still to get a match ticket next season because we may well be in a higher division or hopefully flying even closer to the top if we don't go up through the play offs!

There's always the buy-back as well, which is often in effect.

£7 back per ticket there, so 50% of the ticket value in ST terms.

Yes I’ve thought of both of those Casper and Luke. I’m likely to renew as I don’t fancy missing Man Utd away next season in the cup because it’s season ticket holders only. ?

I didn’t have an ST last season, pure geo reasons and add petrol costs to that. My POTD bill for this season is around £45 - £50 quid per trip with everything that can be stripped out. That said, managed to see a good deal of games both home and away. I would imagine it will be more difficult for me to POTD now.

Never had a season ticket for the Imps in 37 years- next season will be my first year (assuming I can get one before they sell out). I genuinely believe we will sell out of season tickets before start of next season.

Not entirely sure what the season ticket limit would be but must be around 7000 (taking off SW 1850, BM JIC 371, Uni 200, TV Gantry 120 plus Selenity corporate, plus new Legends block).

Which means, if everyone renewed there will only be around 1300 new season ticket sales- not a lot really when we have been pulling in up to 9500 home fans.

Won't be able to get to all home games and will miss around 4-5 (but will use Buy Back) but will be travelling to some away games too.

No brainer for me.

I suppose the deciding factor will be if there us enough people wanting to sit in the Co-op section where the JIC people used to sit, also I would of though a number of people bought a ticket this season to guarantee a seat, maybe if they couldn't get to the majority of games they might just take a chance next season. I also think the short renewal time may have a bearing as well. I still reckon we will sell out though and actually increase sales.

Interestingly enough there is a post on FB where Liam says our prices we are paying are Early Bird prices. Try as I might I can't find the terms early and bird on the press release.

I've read / heard similar hints. I think the 25th cutoff is to take a breath to see which league we're in and reconsider pricing, etc. There's definitely been indications that the renewal period will extend beyond that date but presumably potentially at different pricing.

I think JIC might struggle to sell because most in upper 1 & 2 will renew where they are or not bother.

Then I think BM will end up being mostly non JIC POTD.

I think the "break" is so they know what is available to relocate people after those who have renewed their existing seats have done so. In essence those who wish to renew but can;t because they are being moved (Legends / JIC.)

They can't renew people before they know what's actually available.

Not sure they'd get away with setting different prices for renewals.

I bought tickets for the same reason in Legends, as I think it will be hard to get season tickets generally, especially in the Co-op this year. I'll miss quite a few games due to work, but hey ho!
