Reincarnation yes/no why?

I will start this by looking at odds...

If you believe in billions of years of life and diversity.

What are the odds of being a living species now, today in the current present?

Just lucky/or have you lived before in some form of capacity?

I think we am all one and the same anyway meaning we have been here before and will be here again experiencing life, in a kinda concious growing as you progress through life and onto the next, either staying on this dense level or advancing onto the higher state, if so im screwed looks like i will be staying on the dense lower state been pretty thick over the years tbh lol

Lower/higher Clive? Isnt that just a human invention of judgement?

My point goes that if you take odds alone - surely we have more chance of winning the lottery twice in two weeks, than being alive in the current present as a human being(and judging as above "the most intelligent species on the planet") "if" we take all the diversity and all the living years of anything even a single cell into account?

Do you believe life on the planet has happened for billions of years Trek?

And if so, how would explain the "you" being alive now in the current present?

Is it - Just luck?

Odds Green! Isn't that just a human invention of judgement?

What has one to do with the other? The odds on our species reaching the age it has is one thing, how would reincarnation have an effect on those odds?

As mike points out, we are moving onto what some call the "soul" our life force, has the population of the planet maintained a steady enough population that we never run out of "souls" for the new born? Or do "souls" from other species get promoted/demoted?

Regarding odds though, as a population increases the likelihood of survival of that species increases exponentially, dependant on resources and predators obviously.

Juan - billions of years, countless life forms, yet here you are right now in the present(judged as amongst the most intelligent in species terms) - is this just luck?

Are we really talking all there is = is life and death? Or (and forget soul it makes things too complicated) have you(not necessary as Juan) lived before? And upon death "again not necessary as Juan in your present form" will you live again?

Reincarnation = Yes/no?

I think there's a lot of rubbish spouted all round.
I'm here because my parents were here. And so on and so forth. The end.

No, it contradics Christian philosophy and I am a Christian.

Your argument has no cohesion. It's like saying I like apples because it's 9.20pm.

And whats the rubbish? - Is the age of life on the planet we are told = Rubbish? Is the diversity of life we are told = rubbish?

You right now are alive and as a species you are told you are the MOST intelligent...Odds on that please?

There is no way that Trekker is the most intelligent. He's not thick but he's certainly no Stephen Fry :3:

No way Trekker is Stephen Fry with Trekkers broad Black Country accent he could never talk as posh as Fry.

That's funny! A supplier from Belarus calls mr Mr BBC man because he can understand me and not my colleagues!
Anyway , back to topic, didn't intend to take it off course

Who actually gives a fuck would be a better question

Its major Barney - I read/watched an article on human scars linked with reincarnation. And an Indian woman was having many dreams of past experiences and had a birth mark across her neck. The dreams she was having were she was having her head chopped off.

Blimey do you believe all that I remember watching ATV today years ago and they had some bloke on there with an old painting and he reckoned a figure on it was him.The week after they had a family on and the dad had wrote a book on how aliens had beamed them up to their ship and interrogated them before letting them go mad I tell thee.
