Yes, it’s going to be pretty miserable for any away fans sitting in the rain, I was hoping it’s our performances that would dampen their spirit, not the weather, Gene Kelly or not.
 
tricky shape to put a roof over without blocking the views of some of the back rows. either that or a massive roof over the whole lot, which will block the views from the st andrews
 
I suppose if the purchasing fans know that it is Open roofed then it will not be a surprise to them.

I was in there for the last Ashes test. Just got a ticket for the Ashes at Trent Bridge, £155! Big increase on last time, but guess they can charge what they like with nothing North of Nottingham on offer. Travesty that there's no Ashes tests at Old Trafford and Headingly

Wow… are you a Notts CC member to get it so soon?
My eldest was in Leeds last year, we managed to get in to the India Test for £50ish. Twice had Old Trafford Tests cancelled during COVID.

Yes, a group go to a test every year and we nominated one of us to be a member. Limited to four tickets per member.

Crikey nearly 3 times what I paid in Oz and nearer 6 times when I got cheaper ground level tickets
 
Temporary stand.jpgJust has a quick stab at the size of the new temporary stand in the corner. It's 19 rows at it's highest and the SW is 12 so it will be quite a bit taller and I have used the current St Andrews stand as guide. Maybe a little tall but you get the idea.
