Redevelopment/Refurbishment underway

As part of this phase, it'll be interesting to see what the do with parking around the Stadium because they must have lost quite a few with the Fanzone.

The coop in the same style as the Stacey west with painted steps, just be interesting how and if they continued with the club name seats wise or just plain red.

The simple Lincoln City in white on red is one of the best examples of a club name that actually works on a stand in the entire FL. The proportions are just right.
 
Can't see the pictures because I refuse to sign up to Facebook. However, that exposed red steelwork in the centre of the fanzone could be an accident waiting to happen: I wonder which bonehead will be the first to flatten his face against it?

Does anyone know what the extraneous steel structure is for, by the way?

If you can't see bright red steelwork right in front of you then you deserve to flatten your face against it tbh!

Watched a programme on Longleat the other day and in the 1980s people used to wander around with the Giraffes and Zebras etc with no fences and there was not one accident or incident in years. People had some common sense then and took responsibility for their own actions. Now in our Health and Safety fun squashing culture it's always someone else's fault (where there's a blame there's a claim) and so many people have no common sense or ability look out for and take care of themselves or others.

It's a wonder we ever survived the 80's but hallelujah we did! Most in modern society now would crumble faced with having to live 45 years ago! Well they would crumble if someone spoke to them because they would likely be offended for a start!

TBH, if you can see the 5 photo collage without following the link then they’re the best ones, the others are for fans of fluorescent jackets!

Worked with a guy once who was suing the Army for negligence because he broke his arm after he put it down the barrel of a tank's main gun and the turret turned.

On what planet would anyone think it is a perfectly safe thing to do to put your arm in a gun barrel. Surely everyone has seen a Cartoon before. 1785859709134.png

Health and safety is the reason we're in the state we are in.
Older people have self awareness.
Years ago stupid people did stupid stuff and didn't survive. Then Health and Safety came along and pevented the stupid people from perishing. These same people have then been allowed to breed more stupid people.

Looks like the planning application was updated/revised. The temporary stand is now approximately 580 seats, up from 250 I think it was.

Consultation put back until August 26th. Wonder if that's why Portsmouth and Southampton have been given slightly different allocations?

Might also mean less home tickets in the SW for the first two or three home games as well.
