Recruitment Team

But why celebrate the player? Surely he is only doing his job? Or does that not fit with your agenda?

Last word on this, only because i think you need it, people go to football matches hoping that their team will win the match, also paying £25 - £30 for the privilege, its called support.
There is a massive difference in "celebrating" a goal scored by a player that plays for your team and getting all excited that the recruitment team have done their job and been paid handsomely to bring in a few decent signings.

Players and Recruitment team both do their job and both paid handsomely! You just in a hole, maybe put the shovel down!

Holes and shovels, same old reply when you don't have a counter argument, thanks for trying though bro.

The recruitment team should be praised for doing their job competently, just as people should praise players on these forums for doing their job well. Equally, the recruitment team should be criticised (as they are) for doing their job poorly, just as players should be disparaged if they do their job badly. The point essentially is that, just because somebody does something as a job, it doesn't make them immune to praise, or criticism, for doing it well or disappointingly.

Have you managed to get a job yet Will? :hmmm:

Nail. Head.

Back to our recruitment team. They did a great job bringing in the players they did.

If the window had closed at the end of August like it has done the past few years then we'd all have been happy getting most of our business done before the season started and with time to spare.
But as it closed 3 weeks earlier it brought on unnecessary panic and worry,
So to get so much business done in a shorter amount of time was a job well done.

If the window had closed at the end of August then we wouldn't have these players on board, we would all be moaning that we had only signed three players and slagging the recruitment team like we did 10 days ago.

Hell Norm, considering your last word on the subject was ages back, you still seem to have a lot to say.

By the way, do you think your post above makes sense?

:hmmm:
Last season, their work helped us to stay up .....comfortably

The previous season, their work helped us to win the league.

Not really sure how you get "useless" from that.

I don't think Norman would be happy winning a million on the lottery it would have to be a lot more :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
