Second in the Form Table over the last 6 games, Swansea meet fourth in the Form Table Reading at the Madjeski Stadium on Easter Monday at 3pm.
Paul Ince was appointed interim manager on 21st Feb when
Veljko Paunovic was fired after 8 defeats in a row. Since then Reading have had a mini -revival, culminating in their impressive 1-2 away win at Sheff Utd on Good Friday. They will be looking to get another 3 points and move further away from the relegation zone against the Swans.
For the Swans, they’ll want to put the Barnsley no show behind them, return to winning ways and get that disappointing home draw against the bottom club out of their system.

Reading were deducted 6 points last November for breaching EFL profitability and sustainability rules, with a further 6 point deduction suspended until the end of next season. Not that it would have made a difference to their league position as Hull, the next team above them, are 7 points ahead.
Reading are 9 points clear of the bottom three with 4 games left.

We have one change from Friday’s line-up, Flynn Downes returns in place of Jay Fulton:
Swans:
Andy Fisher, Ben Cabango, Kyle Naughton, Joel Latibeaudiere, Cyrus Christie, Flynn Downes, Matt Grimes (c), Hannes Wolf, Joel Piroe, Jamie Paterson, Michael Obafemi.
Subs: Ben Hamer, Ryan Manning, Jay Fulton, Korey Smith, Olivier Ntcham, Kyle Joseph, Cameron Congreve.

Reading:
Ørjan Nyland, Michael Morrison (c), Tom McIntyre, Tom Ince, Danny Drinkwater, Andy Yiadom, Lucas Joao, Tom Dele-Bashiru, Baba Rahman, Junior Hoilett, Josh Laurent.

Subs: Luke Southwood, Alen Halilovic, Yakou Meite, Terrell Thomas, Femi Azeez, Brandon Baker, Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan.

2’ Joao penalty, Piroe foul on Laurent, ref waved play on, linesman flagged for very soft penalty.
Reading 1 - Swans 0

47’ Obafemi draws a foul from Hoilett, penalty, first in a year!
Piroe left footed to bottom right puts it away
Reading 1 - Swans 3
(72% possession)

HT: 1 - 3

95’ McIntyre right footed shot.
How to blow a season in two easy matches

FT: Reading 4 - Swans 4

The best and the worst of this Swansea team all in one match.
It’s obvious where we need to strengthen in the summer after watching that schoolboy defending.
