Carabao Cup First Round - Reading v Swans 10 Aug 8pm
Saturday it was defeat for the Swans and Blackburn’s first opening day win since 2010. It was emphatic, completely nullifying the Swans new style of play by their high press and high tempo.
We move on and barely have time to draw breath before travelling away again, this time to Reading in the EFL/Carabao Cup.
Expect some changes and another attempt to play RM’s possession game.
Reinforcements are on their way, but not in time for this match, namely Ipswich midfielder Flynn Downes and Man U’s Ethan Laird.
