Of Arsenal, Liverpool and England has sadly died age 70. I knew he’d suffered with Parkinson’s, but that was apparently diagnosed in 1984, so he’s lived with it for almost 40 years

Yeah he started having problems during his time at Swansea but they weren't sure what was up with until nearly two years later.
A regular for Liverpool during their glory years but couldn't dislodge Trevor Brooking from the England team so told Greenwood ( ex West Ham) to shove it!

RIP Ray can remember you playing for Arsenal, Liverpool and Swansea. Did he play at the Bank for Swansea? They signed all the Liverpool team bar keegan. Or was it after they’d got higher up thenn by leagues?

Swansea were in the top two divisions when he played for them. He later played for Hartlepool in the 1983/84 season but of course they were a division below us then.

Was a great player. Couldn't maintain his form at Swansea or Hartlepool but once he was diagnosed in his thirties with parkinsons people realised why.
