Slocombe 6 - A curate's egg of a performance. Fumbling, unsure and no command of his penalty area, conceded a soft goal, but then pulled off a world-class save.

Gordon 7- Did well for most of the game, without setting it alight. Some nifty footwork down the right touchline second half and a couple of decent crosses.

Eardley 6 - Not a centre half and it showed. Probably best for him he was subbed at half time.

Wharton 7- Sluggish start, grew into the game, but can't help thinking he's lacking a bit of confidence compared to last season.

Crookes 7- An improved performance at left back. Did well

Mensah 5 - Lots of huff and puff, but not much else from the lad. No doubting his effort, but was off the pace throughout.

Chapman 5.5 - Some decent passes, some wayward and the odd brain-freeze, but nothing that cost us. Took one for the team, to prevent a goalscoring chance on one of the occasions he fluffed his lines.

Luque 8 - MOTM. Although he faded in the second half, with his lack of match fitness, it was to be expected. His performance was exceptionally good to that point; put in tackles, distributed well, ensured we moved the ball at pace. Would like to see him signed permanently on that showing.

Adebayo-Smith 6 - Despite being thrown in at the deep end, he acquitted himself well. Showed glimpses of his searing pace and I hope we see more of him.

Rhead 6.5 - Put himself about and made some tidy passes in forward areas. Fluffed his lines when he could have written himself a bit of history, which was unfortunately a game-changer.

Green 7.5- Wreaked havoc in the young Stanley defence. Constant thorn in their side. Always runs his blood to water, but got into danger areas more often in this game and . of course, was gifted a goal.

McCombe 6.5 - Super sub coach scores and was pretty solid in defence when he came on. Thankfully, not tested for pace.

Shaw 6 - Competent on the ball and defended well en masse with the rest of the team. Didn't even know he was registered to play!

Danny made his priorities clear this season when fielding that team including coaching staff.

Agree with the comments above.
Slocombe failed to save 1st goal, probably no chance with their 2nd, but did a wonder job after Gordon threw the ball straight to their forward.
Mistakes littered the pitch mixed in with some excellent play by Green & Luque in particular. Rheady was doing well too until his penalty miss. Seemed to affect him thereafter.
Gordon and Jordan linked up well at times.
Shaw, no idea. Jamie, great to see him score again, still got it!
Rest of defence, ok-ish.
Mensah hmmmm

Odd game given the team, but plenty of effort and a little skill. You could see the team doesn't play together and you could see the difference in class when Accy brought their first-teamers on.

Slocombe - 6 - should have done better with Accy's first but redeemed himself with two excellent saves. Everything else average.
Gordon - 6.5 - not a RB but didn't do too badly. Involved himself a lot, but oh that throw-in ?. Also caught in possession for Accy's second.
Eardley - 6 - not a CB but managed ok. Perhaps lacked an understanding with Gordon & Wharton, or late change in position?
Wharton - 7 - my MoM. Started slow but grew into the game and was a rock as it went on. Two great goal-line clearances.
Crookes - 6 - did OK but didn't stand out. Sold himself a bit for Accy's second.
Adebayo-Smith - 5.5 - first sight of him. Great experience for the lad but I reckon it was a bit of a step up for him. Needed to involve himself a bit more but a couple of good runs would do his confidence a power of good.
Chapman - 6.5 - Hmm! Beautiful left foot - needs to practice Beckham type FKs - could be a game-changer. Involved in both goals (pass to Mensah & cross for Jamie's goal). Needs to practice passing with his right foot more instead of just standing on it, and needs to avoid trying fancy things where he gets caught in possession - could cost the team in a big game. So much potential.
Luque - 7 - showed some great touches, passes & runs. Fitness appears an issue at the moment, particularly with his lack of pace to get away from challengers, and his cramping up at 70 mins. Would love to see more of him as I think he could be an asset if we make it to L1. Also not sure about him with the physical side of the game at this level?
Mensah - 5 - Hmm - tried hard and did put in the cross for the first goal (but only cos the defender missed it). Did some defensive stuff but not overall convinced he's good enough?
Green - 7 - gave their two CBs a torrid evening and deserved a goal.
Rhead - 6.5 - less effective than expected. Perhaps needed to push the CBs a bit nearer their goal to give them a really rough time?
McCombe - 7 - still got it. Hoofed it a bit but solid defensively and dangerous in their box - great goal.
Shaw - 6 - involved himself well and did a job as a defensive midfielder.
