Ok, a busy game indeed last night, his match control was good but for me made a few glaring errors. Waterfall handball first half and when the defender went Rheady in the second half were two penalties for me, when the goal was dissallowed I reckon he got it about right, not enough in it for to play advantage from a push, so even though it wasn't deliberate handball if he wasn't waving his arms about it wouldn't of hit one. The yellows were ok as well, no real argument there, could easily of been a couple more.

5/10

Very difficult to judge him, if what Danny says about the fourth official making the decisions is correct.

Got the big decisions wrong: our disallowed goal, Waterfall's handball, the challenge on Rhead.

Impossible to give more than 5/10 on that basis.

Anderson was assaulted on two occasions and no booking although Bostwick sorted one of them later! On the whole a generous five as missed one penalty for each side and ignored a lot of fouls on Lincoln players.

I gave the last one 8 because I felt he only had 10 bad mins so using that logic England gets 0 because he had 90 bad mins and 0 good ones. Absolutely no control over the game and would have been better managed if the players were allowed to do it themselves like Playground football.
Did the linesmen get anything right all match?
Referee - 1/10 (I'm feeling nice)
Linesmen - 0/10

2 - because he got the injury time right. What has Rheady got to have done to him before a pen is given? I read the crap about reputations - but I reffed around 700 games over 20 years and a foul is a foul no matter what they the reputation is - some of this is basic stuff. A shirt can also not ride up to chest height on its own.

He got some big decisions very wrong (although I've no doubt we would have lost anyway).
He also could have (and should have) been more aware of the imminent pitch invasion as soon as final whistle was blown. A clued up ref would have told players to gather near dugouts ready to all leave the pitch quickly.
That could have helped protect the players from the ugly scenes that ensued.
So overall a mark of 1 from me

Shockingly bad performance from a supposed championship ref. Definite homer, as has already been said Anderson gor assaulted and Rhead was jumped into with no attempt to get the ball on a number of occasions. 1/10.

I thought we should have had two penalties (or at least Whitehouse's goal should have stood) and Exeter player should have been booked first half.
5/10.
