With apologies for the lateness of the thread but they've finally fixed our home internet after a month this morning so....

Simon Mather was the man with the whistle last night. How do you think he did. Comments and votes out of 10 please

No major complaints would have given him an 8. But reduce to a 7 for the number of throw ins that him and his linesman gave the wrong way.

It seemed in the early stages every decision went against us but it evened up a bit. 6.5/10

Worth a 7. I thought the linesman on the SB side gave a few curious decisions but that is not the ref's fault.

Agree on dodgy throw ins, although I think they were down to him telling the assistant which way , although he did once literally hold his hands up to a mistake.
Only other decision I would question, Barnsley No 12 who was already on a yellow clattered one of our defenders in an aerial challenge which the referee did give a free kick for. I think once he’d decided it was a foul then it was worth a yellow.
