Wickens 7 - Good save when needed, not really troubled otherwise.
Jefferies 7 - did fine in his 'Swiss Army knife' role, drew good save from their keeper.
Elerewe 8 - a revelation so far this season - solid defensively, turned into Beckenbauer after the red card. Should have done better with the headed chance though.
Towler 7 - unshowy and effective.
Elder 7 - showed his experience and adaptability.
Reach 6 - not his best night, suffered the team wide passing malaise.
Bayliss 6 - similar to Reach
McGrandles 7.5 - not immune to the passing malaise, but hard working and effective in tight midfield spaces.
Hackett 6 - not his best night either, kept trying.
Street 6.5 - quiet first half, more effective in second.
Draper 7 - a handful for Rovers defence, needs a goal then look out.
Varfolomeev 6 - hard working.
Olaofe 6 - carried on harrying Rovers defence, needed to hit target with his chance.
Ladefoged 6 - showed some promise, looking forward to seeing more once he's settled in and more on method.

Wickens 7 - not loads to do but what he did was decent. Great kick for Fred on the break.
Jefferies 7 - steady
Elerewe 8.5 - man of the match again. Great when he started striding forward, won his headers. Wish he'd capped it by heading that one in!
Towler 7.5 - another unfussy display
Elder 7.5 - really good addition, definitely feels like what we've done with the likes of shackell, Bradley, Darikwa etc. Some good tackles.
Reach - 7 fine really, maybe not his usual quality with a few of the balls in and free kick.
Bayliss - 6.5 feels a bit powderpuff in a deeper midfield 2, doesn't really snap into tackles. Had some decent moments though too.
McGrandles - 7.5 loads of effort and some confidence on the ball at times to try and play which not everyone had / rushed.
Hackett 6 - not his best game, I felt like he gave the ball away a lot
Street 6.5 - some good efforts in the air but faded a little
Draper 7.5 - really want him to score, unlucky with that left footed effort. Sometimes fighting on his own and winning!
Varfolomeev - 7 upgrade on Bayliss just for the tenacity to win the ball back.
Olaofe - 6.5 the drop off from Draper in terms of battling is frustrating, I'd have given Fred slightly longer. But when we do play balls down the side can see what he offers.
Ladefoged - 6.5 enough to be encouraged by. Couple of good knock downs and looks mobile.

Jefferies 6 gave it his all. But we won't get away with a stop gap in that position every week.
Elerewe 9 been 10 if he had scored that header. I thought he was immense defending and superb bringing the ball forward.
Towler 7.5 had a decent season last year mostly at fullback . But looks far better in the center. Excellent again.
Elder 7 another inspired signing . Plays with confidence.
Reach 6 not up to his usual high standards. His trusty left foot not working last night.
Bayliss 6 passing very poor really struggles with physicality at this level.
Mcgrandles 6 grafted as always but his passing was atrocious.
Hackett 6 one of our players who seems to be finding the step up in quality a struggle.
Street 6.5 House is a hard act to follow but thought he gave it his best shot.
Draper 7 gave the centre backs a hard time and taken off too early.
Varfolomeev 6.5 midfield noticeably more tenacious once he came on.
Olofe 6 the guys a trier but we just seem to lose something up front when he comes on.

Jefferies: 6 Did ok out of position but not sustainable; glad to see Oyegoke arrive (assuming he is good, of course).

Towler: 7 Looks a Championship player, I admit that I had my doubts.

Elder- 7 A safe pair of hands.
Reach- 6.5 Short of his usual standards.
Bayliss- 6 Not good, not bad. Just sort of there and maybe looking slightly out of phase with McG and lacks the snap and drive of Ivan.
McGrandles- 8 Felt like this was another good performance. Some stray passes, but I don't think it was as bad as some do (I stand to be corrected though). Looked assured and confident.
Hackett- 6 Like Bayliss, not great and not noticeably bad. But didn't seem to be getting anywhere.
