Vickers: 4 Not the first time recently he has been involved in a shambles at the back. If he can't kick any more, he shouldn't be playing. Becoming a liability because opposing teams know he has problems.
Eardley: 6.5 Limited crosses into our box from his wing and was one of our main attacking threats again. Did not contribute to the defensive hara-kiri.
Bostwick: 5.5 Looked uncertain at times, possibly due to the disasters going on around him, possibly because he might have been feeling the injury. Hopefully not a recurrence of the same calf strain, but it didn't look good.
Shackell: 4 That's 2 for the first half, 6 for the second. It will be a shame if that is his Lincoln City swansong.
Toffolo: 7.5 MOM by quite a distance, involved in defence, midfield and attack.
Anderson: 6.5 Tried to get things moving in the second half and earned an assist if not the goal he should have scored.
Morrell: 6.5 Not as influential as of late, but oozes class when he gets the ball. Hopefully this was not his Lincoln City swansong either.
Grant: 6.5 Made some lovely passes in the second half; looks a much better player in the centre, but we really missed O'Connor behind him.
Payne: 5 No impact.
Hesketh: 6 Good at times, anonymous at others. Picked up a ludicrous yellow card for an offence that a Sunderland player had got away with no more than 2 minutes before.
Walker: 6.5 Looked more disconnected than in recent games, but another goal earns him an extra half-mark.
Bolger: 6.5 Very solid when he came on and eliminated the footballing drivel at the back. Quite why he had been dropped in the first place, I don't know.
Akinde: 6 Was a real nuisance when he came on, but one mark off for the horrendous fluff 90 seconds into the second half. If that had gone in as it should have done, who knows what might have happened in that second half?
