So that continues the 100% home record in the league without conceding a goal, and City are back in the top two. Joey B leaves another game against Lincoln empty-handed, which can't be a bad thing, and Matt Gilks concedes two in a match at Sincil Bank for the first time in 2019. Tyler Walker overtakes Harry Anderson to become leading scorer and Callum Connolly has a winning debut in his favoured position. Presumably Darren Moore was lurking in the stands, as he has had very little to do on Saturdays so far. City keep three successive home clean sheets in the league for the first time since 2016-17, but Danny has never had four in a row since he arrived here...that represents an interesting sub-plot for the Bristol Rovers game.

What Danny does have is 100 wins in charge of Lincoln City in little over three seasons, an extraordinary record.

6.0 is the par score, use half-marks and give us your comments too.

Deadline is 5pm on Monday due to the Doncaster game.

Vickers 7 Fleetwood gave him an easy afternoon but kept his concentration throughout

Eardley 7.5 Solid at the back and offered much going forward
Shackell 8 Must have put his head onto every ball in our box. Great defensive performance
Bostwick 6.5 Committed as always but did get caught out a couple of times in dangerous positions
Toffolo 7.5 Sensational cross for the first goal. Solid defensively

Morrell 8 Such a consistent performer this season. Win the ball. Pass to one of ours. Repeat for 90 minutes
Connolly 8. Player. Covered every blade of grass. Always offering himself for a pass and a wonderful through ball. Also great covering between the central defenders in the second half. Upgraded O'Hara. Are we really signing players like this now? Unbelievable

Anderson 7. Usual busy performance
Payne 7 Plenty of trickery, some of which didn't quite come off but you sense something will happen every time he gets the ball
Grant 6.5 Bit peripheral again and I do wonder if we are shoe-horning him into a position he's not fully comfortable with

Walker 8.5 Two goals in a 2-0 win makes you MOM. Up to that though I thought he was struggling to get into the game with some poor control in the first 20 minutes, but you can't argue with the 2 finishes which were fantastic

Vickers - 6 Well protected by the defence
Eardley - 7 Used all his experience effectively
Bostwick - 7 Solid
Shackell - 7 Ditto
Toffolo - 7 Good balance between defending and attacking
Connolly - 7 Very encouraging debut
Anderson - 7 Lung bursting shift
Morrell - 7 steady as you like
Grant - 7 Readily available and took up some good positions
Payne - 7 Not a moments rest for Fleetwood players
Walker - 7.5 Two chances two goals to win the game

Vickers 6 - A couple of routine saves but a spectator otherwise
Eardley 6.5 - Not really tested
Bostwick 6.5 - As above
Shackell 6.5 - As above
Toffolo 7 - Wonderful cross for the goal
Connolly 7 - Composed
Anderson 7 - Keeping up his vein of form
Morrell 6.5 - Disciplined
Grant - 6 - Quiet
Payne 6.5 - As above
Walker 7.5 - Two great finishes

Saw a different side to this team, though. Payne, Morrell and Grant were all quieter, through DC's instructions no doubt, but still contributed to the wider game plan.

It's a low average score, but that's all we had to be. Played within ourselves.

Vickers 6.5 Battered but only a couple of routine saves
Eardley 7.0 Battered but usual composed performance
Toffolo 7.0 Battered but produced great cross for first goal
Shackell 7.0 Battered but organised the defensive effort well
Bostwick 6.5 Battered but only troubled when he had too much time on the ball
Morrell 7.0 Battered but always made it look as though he was in control
Connolly 7.0 Battered but looked assured and picked out Walker for second goal
Anderson 7.0 Battered but still summoned up the energy to look a threat after Wednesday
Grant 7.0 Battered but had the vision and skill to pick out Toffolo for initiates the first goal
Payne 7.0 Battered but still worked hard and a threat at times
Walker 7.5 Battered and peripheral until he got a couple of chances which is all he needed.

When I got home I had a nice piece of battered cod for my tea. Seemed appropriate after seeing Lincoln so comprehensively battered by the Cod Army.

Vickers 6.5 nothing to do apart from the odd tip over & tip around
Eardley 7 Quality
Bostwick 7 Good at head tennis for 2nd goal
Shackell 7 Seemed to have it all under control
Toffolo 8 love the runs, crosses, song is getting to me but I still sing it!
Connolly 7 Bit early for me to judge, because I have no benchmark, like what I saw
Anderson 7 running on vapour
Morrell 7 Industrious as usual
Grant 7 Shows nice touches
Payne 7 Looked out on his feet but never stops, a cracking player
Walker 8.5 MOM just shades Toff

Akinde 7 I'll put in a word for Big John, made their CB work for his headers in the last 20 mins when he had it all his own way up until then. Some nice touches and a sliding tackle in last few mins.
