Still top of the league, four successive clean sheets from four games for Joe Walsh, six clean sheets from nine league games in total, and already 16 points clear of relegation. Palmer 7.5 Not a huge amount to do but what he did was magnificent. The block save first half was the stand out, but his overall control and composure within his 18 yard box is first rate

Eyoma 7 Cracking performance going forward first half and very disciplined second
Walsh 7 Four appearances for us. Four clean sheets. Just gets on with his job
Montsma 8 My MOM. That first minute shot was ridiculously brilliant. Other than that fantastic at the back and his cross field balls are now hitting their targets. Loses a point for wearing gloves
Edun 7. Looked more solid at the back tonight and very disciplined.

Grant 7 Couldn't quite influence the game as he has so far this season but very disciplined as shown by him covering for Walsh late on.
Jones 7 Great set up for Harry and a very busy first half. Seemed to fade a smidge and might need a rest
McGrandles 7.5 Excellent throughout and covered so much ground

Anderson 7.5 Typical Harry performance and superb finish for the winner
Johnson 7.5 Seems effortless on the ball sometimes but also put in a good defensive shift.

Hopper 7 Should have scored at least one, but led the line really well and contributed very well defensively.
 
Palmer - 7.5 - One poor punch but otherwise looked very composed.
Eyoma - 7 - One brilliant run which deserved an assist.
Montsma - 8 - Stood up really well and some great distribution.
Walsh - 7.5 - Also some very strong defence.
Edun - 6.5 - Worries me a bit but did well at the end helping the team hold back the assault.
Grant - 7.5 - Standard good passing and dribbling but great defensive awareness in Bridcutt’s absence.
McGrandles - 9 - MOTM. Fantastic performance. Was everywhere and much better ball retention.
Jones - 7 - Tried a bit too hard I felt at times to impress against his old club. Brilliant assist.
Anderson - 7.5 - Not his busiest game but a great finish. Do I have to mention he worked hard?
Johnson - 8 - Too good for this level.
Hopper - 6.5 - Does well everywhere apart from the 6 yard box, just needs one to go in!
 
Palmer-7 - the dodgy punch reminded us all how dependable he's become
Eyoma-7.5- the L1 Sam Habergham continues, solid in defence and committed in attack.
Montsma - 8 -from his first minute excursion and shot to his injury time resolute defending, the full talents of a very talented player on display.
Walsh - 8 - four games, four clean sheets. Works well with those around him.
Edun - 7.5 - mainly for an excellent second half after a shaky first.
Grant - 7.5 - ironically less prominent in the central role, but diligent defensive work and passing.
McGrandles - 8 - his best Imps game for me, seemed to work better rotating the midfield with Grant.
Jones - 7 - potential MoTM first half, great knock-down for the goal, best midfielder getting forward since Freck. Faded second half, MA needs to watch the stamina after a superb start to the season.
Anderson - 8 - workrate forward and defensively continued this season's standard, took goal beautifully.
Johnson - 8 - pace, strength and skill, terrifying defences yet again and worked hard defensively when needed.
Hopper -8- superb hold-up play, pace in running down defenders created panic in Crewe's defence at times. Use ful cameo appearances in defence.
