The first away defeat for BW this season, and the first time they have conceded 2 in a game. It sounded extremely comfortable listening on the radio - was it? For the first time in an age, did a Lincoln manager effectively win a game by getting his tactics exactly right for the opposition?

Farman
Waterfall
Raggett
Habergham
Wood
Woodyard
Arnold
Rhead
Robinson
Anderson
Power

No ratings invited for Lee Beevers - get fit soon, we need you.

6.0 is the par score, use half-marks and give us your comments too - they are the interesting bits.

Farman - 6 - Not a great deal to do but one nervy moment
Waterfall - 7 - Coped very well with their attacking pace
Raggett - 7.5 - As per Waterfall but a special mention for the goal line clearance
Habergham - 6.5 - Rarely see a mistake from him, got forward pretty well
Wood - 7 - Slotted in well at RB
Woodyard - 7 - Was his usual busy self, controlled the game well when needed
Arnold - 7 - Really lively performance and took his goal well
Rhead - 8 - An assist and a much deserved goal, great performance
Robinson - 6.5 - Lively and some good passing, first touch left a bit to be desired but possibly due to the service
Anderson - 7 - Becoming a consistently performing winger these days, excellent going forward and back
Power - 7 - Slotted in really well, kept things simple and rarely misplaced a pass

All the best for your recovery Lee, the injury put a real dampener on the evening. A massive loss to the team.

Farman 6.5 – Didn't have a great deal to do, but nearly blotted his copybook towards the end when he was dispossessed near the corner flag trying to be clever and Raggett took one for the team with a crucial foul that stopped them from taking advantage of an open goal. Loses half a mark for that, does Farman.
Waterfall 8 – Excellent. Led like a skipper should and won everything. Has really blossomed into a damn good centre-half.
Raggett 8 – Never lost a header and so composed at the back. He even went on an Alan Hansen-type foray forward towards the end such was his confidence.
Habergham 7 – Solid and dependable, if unspectacular, which is no bad thing.
Wood 8 – Was terrier-like in midfield and chased everything, but turned into Psycho when reverted to right-back, with some bone-crunching tackles, which stopped BW in their tracks, dead. A great replacement for Beevers.
Woodyard 7.5 – Controlled the midfield and looked so confident on the ball.
Arnold 7 – Didn't see enough of the ball, for me, but when he got it he looked dangerous. Good finish for the goal, but was it his? He swapped sides with Anderson, but it was Harry who seemed to get more of the ball. Needs to be found more.
Rhead 7.5 – That's more like it. Intelligent forward play and some lovely touches. Brilliant take down for the goal and great to see him end his drought. And a great reaction towards the fans after his goal.
Robinson 7 – Put loads of effort in, but the ball never seemed to fall for him in the box or near the danger area, although he tried to claim Arnold's goal. Too inconclusive for me. Workmate good and movement excellent, but sometimes he and Rhead were too far apart.
Anderson 7.5 – A pretty decent first-half, but excelled after the break and could have had a hat-trick. Never afraid to have a pop a goal, which s good to see. Ran the BW defence a merry dance at times.
Power 8 – Nervy start, but settled down well and was excellent. Harried, probed, closed down, passed well and got stuck in to BW, and on this evidence, he should start at Chester, if Wood does indeed replace Beevers at right-back. Makes the inclusion of Champion for those earlier games even more bizarre when you see what Power is capable of.
Whitehouse 7 – Thought he deserves a mark as he looked dangerous going forward, but stood out for me with two defensive headers from dangerous-looking BW corners into the box. Pretty good, all-round cameo.

Farman - 6 - good save at 0-0 but decision making is not great
Waterfall - 7 - very solid game
Raggett - 7 - very solid game
Habergham - 7 - their out-ball was to their right winger, Habergham never really let him get a look in
Wood - 7 - very solid game
Woodyard - 6.5 - not quite his usual standard
Arnold - 6.5 - works hard for the team dropping in
Rhead - 7 - good display, won lots of headers, usually intelligent in possesion
Robinson - 5.5 - touch and control in first half was poor, improved in the second, better than this
Anderson - 7.5 - constant threat
Power - 6.5 - didn't do too badly, a bit indecisive in possession but better than the AP I'm used to seeing

Farman. 6 one good save early on and one crazy moment. Farman in a nutshell.
Waterfall. 7 commanding, solid, no frills. What a centre back should be like.
Raggett. 7 commanding, solid, no frills. The main reason for the clean sheets. Wins every header he goes for.
Habergham, 7 dependable because he is calm and doesn't flap. Kept Ricky Shakes under control first half when he looked their best outlet.
Wood. 7 typical Wood game. Couple of bone crunchers to please the fans.
Woodyard. 6-5 understated game but does the simple things so well. Looked happier with AP next to him.
Arnold .6-5. Crucial goal and is a constant threat.
Anderson. 8 excellent 2nd half, ran at them and they couldn't handle his pace. Deserved a goal.
Rhead. 7 confused BH by actually swapping positions and NOT being a statue target man. Top skills for the goal and stayed on his feet.
Robinson. 6 poor control on several occasions but his pace stretched them and gave others more space. Worked hellish hard for the team.
Power. 8-5 man of the match. Had a point to prove and totally did. Worked hard, snapped into tackles and kept the tempo up. Woodyard benefitted from having a player alongside who could link play and pass the ball.

Whitehouse. 6-5 terrier like on the pitch. Like his attitude and won 2 great defensive headers.

Farman....6 One good save and one indecisive moment.
Wood.......7 Adjusted seamlessly to right back.and their pacy left winger suddenly didn't fancy it.
Waterfall...7 Another solid display...won every challenge.
Raggett....7 Ditto.
Habergham...7 Kept their right winger outlet very quiet with astute positioning.
Woodyard....6.5 One of his quieter games (despite the mom award) but assured as ever.
Power........6.5 A good effort considering his time away. Looked to have lost a little weight and kept it simple.
Anderson....7.5 Direct running, great change of pace and strength. A constant menace.
Arnold.......7 Found himself lots of space at times and well taken goal.
Robinson.....6 Ball did bounce off him a little, but, his running of channels and pace were a constant outlet/threat.
Rhead........8 Won virtually every header, some great link up play and a well deserved goal.

Whitehouse...6.5 Looked energetic both going forward and defensively.

Boreham Wood posed interesting tactical questions with their use of extreme width in their front three. They also boasted an excellent away record beforehand.
Our best performance of the season to date (taking account of the opposition). Our increasing control in games is evident.

Farman - 6 - Seems to have a couple of moments a game where you have your heart in your mouth like when he tries to shepherd the ball out for a goal kick and failed
Waterfall - 7.5 - Improving and helped by a stable CB pairing
Raggett - 7
Habergham - 6.5
Wood - 6.5 - Think he played better at RB for some reason
Woodyard - 6.5
Arnold - 6.5
Rhead - 7 - Number of headers he wins without jumping is amazing, and a sublime touch before the goal
Robinson - 6
Anderson - 7 - His trademark now his head-down strong driving runs with a low shot at the end
Power - 7

Farman 6. All others 7 with the exception of Rhead who gets a big fat 0 as he has been proven to be rubbish by statistics.

 Yah, boo sucks!

Farman 7 - he kept another clean sheet, end of
Wood 7 - did well converting to right back and looked composed throughout.
Habergham 7- neat and tidy and some decent crosses.
Waterfall 8 - Best game I've seen from him. Never a moment of concern. A revelation.
Raggett 7 - Would have been 8 but for the avoidable booking at the end. Very solid
Arnold 8 - Does a lot of hard work at both ends of the field , Very willing and skilful . Took his goal well.
Power 9 - Outstanding. So nice to see him looking confident and showed what he can really do under the right regime. Grew in confidence, tackled like a demon and shored up midfield admirably.
Anderson 7 - Started slowly and got little change out of BW's left back. Had much more room on the left and made some good runs and one decent shot that the 'keeper very nearly presented to Rheady on a plate.
Woodyard 7 - Occasionally looks uncomfortable on the ball, could it be the weight of expectation? However, his distribution is generally very good. Can only benefit from Miles' return to fitness, Power's marked improvement and of course, Elliott Whitehouse.
Rhead 8 - Great skill to bring the ball under control for his goal and won lots of aerial battles. Signs of an understanding developing with Robinson.
Robinson 7 - Ran his blood to water, had a fierce shot saved and looks the best partner Rhead has had thus far.

Whitehouse 7 - as others have said, looks to be adept at both ends, so am expecting great things.

All the best to Lee and his family. A sickener for the lad. Really hope he defies expectation and comes back sooner rather than later, fully fit and raring to go.

Farman 6 up and down showing
Wood 7 All action as always
Habergham 7 assist for second and class as usual everything Newton never was at LB
Waterfall 7.5 Very good
Raggett 7.5 As above
Anderson 7.5 Lively as ever and a massive threat
Arnold 7.5 Back to Fitness and took his goal well.
Power 7 Shaky start got better, would have liked to have seen a couple of times
Woodyard 7.5 Class act
Robinson 6.5 Lively but control of the ball not there last night
Rhead 8 superb

Farman 5- manager will want better decision making from his keeper.
Waterfall 8- getting better.
Raggett 9- won everything
Habergham 6- still could drive forward a bit more
Wood 8- great attitude.
Woodyard 7- not going to score many but controls play well.
Arnold 6- flashes of good play
Rhead 8- won everything and looks to be adding more to his game.
Robinson 6- worked hard but just needs to do a bit more thinking.
Anderson 8- kept knocking one door.
Power 7- did well but will need to maintain that level to keep in the squad
