I lied.

Can we make it 5pm on Monday please, due to Tuesday's game against Manchester United Juniors.

Ta.

iFollow had it's full match video up early and I was on the overnight shift. Rude not to really... glad to report that despite the loss we at least looked like a team again.

Vickers: 6 had no chance with either goal, good stop in the second half.
Eardley: 6 in no man's land for the first goal.
Bolger: 6: dodgy distribution, good in the air.
Shackell: 6 for not moaning at his teammates.
Toffolo: 6 out of position for the first goal, allowing the overload, BUT rest of the game as lively as ever.
Connolly: 6 better performance. Got stuck in. Should have had a penalty.
Anderson: 4 not a good half shift. Dodgy decision making as per.
Morrell: 5 two mistakes, two goals conceded.
Andrade: 6.5 nice cross. Very nice cross.
Payne: 7 well taken goal, buzzed around and got stuck in.
Walker: 6 this kid needs service. When he gets it, he does things.

Grant: 6 basically fouled every time he was near the ball.

Vickers: 5 A good reflex save 2nd half, but 2 of only 3 shots on target resulting in goals. Still not convincing and Smith deserves a chance.
Eardley: 5 Mistake-ridden and poor crossing.
Bolger: 5 Poor distribution, but solid enough.
Shackell: 6 Kept Gnaduillet relatively quiet.
Toffolo: 7 Best defender as usual.
Connolly: 6 Better, but still prefer O'Connor.
Anderson: 4 How many blind alley's did he run down?
Morrell: 5 Two mistakes were crucial, but was as tenacious as ever.
Andrade: 8 Lively throughout, consistent quality crossing too. MotM
Payne: 7 Good finish, and will flourish under Appleton.
Walker: 7 Led the line superbly, but living off scraps to be honest.

Grant: 6 We miss his set-piece delivery when he's on the bench.

Vickers: 5 Made a save 2nd half! But as others have said they scored 2 of with only 3 shots on target (in first 20 minutes it was 2 for 2). Smith deserves a chance, but I'm concerned it might ruin Vickers confidence even further if he's dropped now...
Eardley: 5 Made quite a few mistakes and was not able to put in a decent cross all night.
Bolger: 5 always makes me nervous with his distribution, great in the air as usual.
Shackell: 6 Kept Gnaduillet quiet and seemed to be the leader. Should have scored (at least one of his three efforts) but not going to deduct for that.
Toffolo: 7 Running, running and running. Seriously this guy has a motor. Was caught out if position a few times but that was due to his desire to get forward and get us some points.
Connolly: 6 much better, looked better in the tackle and his distribution was more assured.
Anderson: 4 such a shame he didn't look up (on several occasions) he just ignored teammates and ran into traffic.
Morrell: 4 directly at fault for both goals, other than that put himself about and workerd hard.
Andrade: 8 Lively throughout, had their defence all at sea and was rounding them at will, put in some great crosses and a few shots that on another day may have gone the other side of the post.
Payne: 7 finally got his goal! And it was a good finish, good to hear Appleton saying he wants him closer to Walker.
Walker: 7 played as well as he could - living off scraps. We all know he needs better service. He wants to run onto the ball (ala second Fleetwood goal) not receive the ball in the middle of the park with his back to goal.

Grant: 6 always brings danger from his set-piece delivery. Couldn't seem to affect the game as much in open play
