Rant of the day

When thinking about who the culprits might be I have to admit I was suspecting travellers. Due to the number of them and low age . It transpires the 10 were picked up from a nearby travellers camp. I didn't want to say it before as I might have been accused of anti traveller bias.

I'n f**king sick of them and their antics. We need specific laws to deal with their behaviour now; sick to death of them 'playing the victims' and getting away with it.

50 illegal immigrants picked up off Hastings today , travelled from France . So they set sail off France and were not seen in French waters as they left ? Are the French doing enough to stop this, it's been going on all summer.

One man was picked up from an off shore wind farm. He was attempting to swim the channel. He had cobbled together a floating aid made from empty plastic bottles etc and fishing net. He had one rubber flipper but may have originally had 2. Seriously are we that much better than France ?

What kind of a person becomes a police officer in a position of trust then downloads porn at the expense of a grieving family who have just lost their 14 year son found dead in his bedroom ?

The officer was guarding their property inside while they were absent. He used their Virgin account to download 4 porn films , then falsified his time log to make it lòok like he wasn't there at the time.

I am not a traveller.
I am not a criminal.
But I do know that its this type or reporting (usually championed by the Mail, Telegraph and The Sun) that leads to many sentances being overturned for being unsafe.

I was shocked to see a new advertising banner for a low price lunch deal for KFC. It reads What the Cluck ?

If you were in charge of advertising and one of the team came into your office with that slogan....what would you say. ? There is no doubt it's a play on words for what the fuck. It can't be anything else. What's next Cluck Off that's cheap, Cluck it, let's get a KFC.

I might be old fashioned but it just seems wrong.

You only have to see what FCUK re-branding did for French Connection. A business that was on it's knees until some cleaver CLUCK came along with that!!

Only 6 % of illegal boat people are deported from the UK.
Slovakian people smugglers are selling Slovak girls to Pakistani men who marry them to gain an EU passport. Often the girls are forced to sleep with the men first.

Has anyone seen any evidence for the so called racist incident at the Manchester derby, Sky Sports are blurring the pictures in the guise of not showing upsetting images, and I can't find a clear image anywhere. How convenient.

And now Everton are hunting down suspects in a homphobic chanting crime.

Welcome to 1984 gentleman , the real issues are being buried while faux outrage is promoted.

Why are workers in India sleeping overnight in unsafe factories ?

Been to and work in India and seen the conditions first hand; first thing to absorb is the fact that building fires are very common in India, where building regs and safety norms are often flouted or completely ignored by both builders and residents alike. Inspection and enforcement in India is a concept that often passes local councils and inspectors by - you just simply pay the right people at the right times.

Most factories are crammed in around the horrendously run down crammed area's and no-go area's where land can be dirt cheap. Moreoften than not the businesses that are run in these places turn a blind eye to the workers deciding to sleep there as it's cheaper and more affordable that any others form of accomodation anywhere nearby - and if you've ever had to use the local transport, a damn sight better than going through that hell everyday.

Ultimately, in India life is cheap, and workers wages are cheaper still, you can still find 100 uneducated people willing to fill one job like that.

How/when it will change is anyone's guess.
