Having seen a video of the lad, he appears to position himself well, he can tackle, he can dribble, he has a great range of passing. Have we just signed a defender with the idea of playing him as a mobile defensive midfielder?

Perhaps he will replace keogh as a ball playing dender who can bring the ball out and pass it forward to another Derby player?
We have 3 DMs in Evans lLedley and Thorne plus Huddlestone who could be on his way.

Yes, Swales, replacing Keogh is a possibility. Based on the "Tomori video" he also looks equipped for the DM role. His being classed as a defender, it looks obvious that he would come in to take on a back 4 role. The video suggests he might have more in his locker which is why I posted that message......
