Spurs bosses during Wenger’s reign and their record against ars*nal

Former ars*nal striker Niall Quinn believes there has been a “shift in power” in North London, with Tottenham now the area’s top side.

Spurs have never finished above ars*nal during Arsene Wenger’s 20 year reign but, after blowing their best chance in years with a final day defeat to Newcastle last season, seem well set to emerge as north London’s top side this term.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have a 14 point lead over ars*nal, albeit having played two games more, and are showing no signs of letting their advantage slip with six wins on the bounce in the Premier League.

It is enough to convince Quinn, who played 93 games for ars*nal between 1985 and 1990, that a new power is emerging in north London ahead of derby day on April 30.

“We've all felt it coming over the last period of time,” Quinn told Sky Sports.

“If it ended ars*nal's top four hopes, what a double whammy that would be for Spurs fans and that could very well be the case.

“There's been a shift in power in north London over the last year or so. ars*nal fans are getting restless with their manager but Spurs fans, the joy they have watching their team, they can't believe what's happening there.

“It's a great place to be playing your football, supporting them if you're a supporter. Tottenham are right at it and that game against ars*nal will be a judgement day.”
